Thai Yoga Massage Cranial Sacral Massage | Susan Kynard-Deavers A native of Montgomery, Susan is a Registered Nurse, a 1989 graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is a Board Certified Cardiac Vascular Nurse (BCCVN) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, 2003. She completed training for Healing Touch Practitioner from the Colorado Center of HealingTouch, 2001, earning International Certification (CHTP) in 2002 fromHealing Touch International. She has studied with Dr. Herbert Benson, MD, at Harvard University School of Medicine Continuing Education while in Boston, 2001, completing coursework in “Spirituality & Healing” and has studied Advanced Practice Healing Touch Levels I & II, with Healing Touch founder, Janet Mentgen, 2002. She has experience in Critical Care, Emergency Care, Cardiac Rehabilitation and as a Clinical Instructor for Auburn University (Main Campus). She has taught Basic & Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Life Support, Basic Trauma Life Support , Heartsaver, First Aid. Susan is also a Licensed Massage Therapist (#2073), & is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic & Massage (NCTMB). She completed Certificates in Therapeutic, Orthopedic & Spa Therapies from the Montgomery School of Bodywork & Massage in 2005. Her training includes Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology, Chair Massage, Sports Massage & Butterfly Technique. She earned a Master of Science in Natural Health and Wellness Counseling from Breyer State University, Los Angeles, CA, in 2009. She completed certification in Comfort Touch, with the course creator, Mary K. Rose, at Atlanta School of Massage, 2011. She founded Touchstone Healing Arts, LLC in 2002 and joined forces with Peaceful Solutions Massage Therapy & Spa in early 2005. |
