A native of Arkansas, Mary Rogers a Registered Nurse, graduated from the University of Arkansas’ first Nurse Practitioner Program with a BS in Nursing& a Master’s in Health Facility Administration. She has experience in Pediatrics, Occupational Nursing,and Home Health Care as a Nursing Supervisor. She has studied with the Nurse Healer, Janet Mentgen, RN, CHTP/I, in Atlanta and with the Animal Healer Carol Komitor, CMT, CHTP/I, in Tennessee. She has her International Certification in Healing Touch with the endorsement of the American Holistic Nurses’ Association, and is a member of Healing Touch International. She is also a reflexologist, as well as a Reiki master. Currently, she is teaching Reiki, Reflexology, Anatomy, and Physiology at the Montgomery School of Bodywork & Massage. She received her certificate, in MassageTherapy from the school in May 2007.
A native of Montgomery, Susan Kynard-Deavers is a Registered Nurse, a 1989 graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is a Board Certified Cardiac Vascular Nurse. She completed training for Healing Touch Practitioner from the Colorado Center of HealingTouch, 2001, earning International Certification (CHTP) in 2002 from Healing Touch International. She has studied with Dr. Herbert Benson, MD, at Harvard University School of Medicine Continuing Education while in Boston, 2001, completing coursework in “Spirituality & Healing” and has studied Advanced Practice Healing Touch Levels I & II, with Healing Touch founder, Janet Mentgen, 2002. Susan is also a Licensed Massage Therapist (#2073), & is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic & Massage (NCTMB). She completed Certificates in Therapeutic, Orthopedic & Spa Therapies from the Montgomery School of Bodywork & Massage in 2005. Her training includes Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology, Chair Massage, Sports Massage & Butterfly Technique. She earned a Master of Science in Natural Health and Wellness Counseling from Breyer State University, Los Angeles, CA, in 2009. She completed certification in Comfort Touch, with the course creator, Mary K. Rose, at Atlanta School of Massage, 2011. She founded Touchstone Healing Arts, LLC in 2002 and joined forces with Peaceful Solutions Massage Therapy & Spa in early 2005.
Trisha Ann Johnston, a native Floridian, received an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Tidewater Community College in 1995. In 1997, she went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of West Alabama. She received her certificate in Neuromuscular Therapy and Professional Therapeutic massage from the Advanced Academy of Therapeutic Massage Montgomery Alabama in 2001. She is nationally certified and has been practicing at Peaceful Solutions Massage Therapy & Spa since she co-founded it in 2002. She has been a volunteer for Hospice of Montgomery, where she offered massage to patients, care givers, staff and fellow volunteers. In 2009, she received her teaching certificate for Yoga and is currently teaching semi- private classes at Metamorphosis Training Studio.

A native of Selma Alabama, LeAnne Owen is a 1991 graduate of Samford University with a B.S. in Public Administration. She graduated from the Alabama School of Massage Therapy in 1997 and became one of the first 500 therapist licensed in Alabama when licensure began the next year. She opened Therapeutic Balance Massage Therapy in Birmingham Alabama in 1998. In 2003, she began facilitating seminars for Diversified Nursing Services and for several years travelled the state of Alabama providing continuing education classes to nurses, social workers, occupational and physical therapists. Today she writes home study modules and manages the DNS website in addition to doing massage therapy. Over the years she has learned many types of body work including static and gliding cupping, gua sha and other forms of IASTM, active and passive stretching, and kinesiology taping. She uses a integrative style of deep tissue massage therapy that utilizes all these different myofascial techniques along with deep tissue manual therapy to increase range of motion and decrease restrictions and adhesions that often lead to myofascial pain and a decrease in mobility . A new resident of Montgomery, Ms. Owen looks forward to being closer to family and joining the team at Peaceful Solutions.
